Town Talk: We Want to Hear from You

We Want to Hear from You! RSVP Now to Attend a United Way of Lake County Town Talk Conversation.

What Is Town Talk?

Your opinion matters, which is why we're hosting 3 Town Talk conversations to learn your vision of the community you want to live. The feedback we obtain will help shape our work in Lake County.

  • What's your vision of the Lake County community you want to live in?
  • What community concerns do you have - what worries you most?
  • What areas of focus should we, as a community, be focused on?
  • How do you want to see the community move forward?
  • What are the hopes and aspirations you have for yourself and your family, friends and neighbors who live here in Lake County?

Join your neighbors for an open, informal conversation about your vision of the community you want to live in. Share your aspirations, concerns and how you want to see your community move forward. Town Talk is inspired by the work of the Harwood Institute. The conversations last 90-minutes and are casual, "kitchen-table" like discussions where groups of approximately 12 Lake County residents share their opinions about our community.  Please click here for a promotional flyer to share with your friends and neighbors.

What Will We Do With Your Feedback?

We want to ensure that as we move forward in our mission of measurably improving the lives of Lake County residents, that our focus is on the areas you, the members of our community and our donors feel most strongly about. The information you share will help shape our work and help us further engage the community, find new partners, develop strategies and further mobilize resources.

What's Required to Attend - How Do I RSVP?

The only requirement to join the conversation is an advance RSVP. There is no fee and you may attend any one of the 3 sessions most convenient for you. The dates and locations differ for each. The format of each meeting will be identical. And since the number of participants is limited, please be sure to register now.

Each Town Talk session will last 90-minutes and will run from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.
Click one of the 3 sessions below to RSVP now or you may RSVP by calling 440.639.1286.
