The Purpose
Women United believes in socials with a purpose, and we've adopted Forbes House, Lake County's only shelter for survivors of domestic violence, for this one. It is our hope you will consider bringing some of the following NEW unused items to donate: pull-up diapers (all sizes), baby formula, 30-gallon trash bags, tall trash bags, paper plates, gas station gift cards, Walmart gift cards, new women's clothing and shoes (all sizes), children's toiletries, and infant/children's medicine. And we wouldn't be mad if you enlisted the help of your family and friends to fill a bag to help the women of our community in need. Completely optional of course.
