United Way of Lake County Community Impact Evaluation & Investment Volunteers
The Community Impact Investment process is our method for annually reviewing and evaluating funding applications submitted by non-profit agencies to determine who will receive funds and the level of funding that will be provided. Volunteer committees do this work so donors aren't faced with the difficult and daunting task of determining the best way to help the most people. is to ensure all programs funded are effective, efficient and result in positive outcomes that benefit Lake County residents.Funding decisions are based upon a thorough review of financial and administrative information, program evaluation and site visits by our Community Impact Evaluation & Investment (E&I) committee volunteers. With such great need, deciding where to allocate funds can be challenging, which is why our volunteers rely on research. The goal is to ensure all programs funded are effective, eficient and result in positive outcomes that benefit Lake County residents.
