Dine to Donate

Food insecurity, the inability to access affordable and nutritious food, exists in every county in America.  Lake County is no exception.  Our local 2-1-1 saw an increase in calls during 2014 with 10,879 inquiries for assistance with food.  Indeed, the time to help is now.

United Way of Lake County and area restaurants are working together to make a difference.  Dine to Donate, a community-wide event, will take place on Thursday, March 19.  The participating restaurants listed below will donate a portion of their sales for the day to Feed Lake County. 

The Feed Lake County program runs every March through April, raising money and accepting donations of canned goods to fill more than 50 Lake County food pantries year round.  Dine to Donate is an easy way to help.  Dine out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and help feed those who are hungry in our community.
