Regan: An Inspirational Story of one Woman's Fight to Live

Forty-year old Lake County resident Regan has suffered a lifetime of hardships. When she finally broke, she went down a dark and dangerous path of drug and alcohol addiction that stole her from her young son and nearly took her life on numerous occasions. With the help of our partner agencies, Oak House and New Directions for Living, Regan fought her way out and back to her son. It was a long and difficult process but Regan credits her life to the agency programs and staff who helped guide and uplift her and to United Way of Lake County for our support of these programs.
