Senior Citizens Panel:
Senior Citizens deserve to live with dignity. This is realized by funding programs that enable seniors to stay within their own homes by providing:
- Healthy meals
- Senior guardians
- Home chore services
- Home health care
- Prescription assistance
- Hospice care
- Senior center programs
- Exercise classes
- Respite care

United Way of Lake County's Goal for the Basic Needs Panel:
Permanently changing conditions enables people in crisis or emergencies to take care of themselves. This is realized by funding programs that systemically address the core of the problem; for instance, we will provide shelter, but impact is made when we can prevent homelessness. We provide:
- Food for pantries
- Emergency shelter
- Transitional housing for women and children
- Domestic abuse shelter
- Disaster services
- Homeless outreach day program
- Utility/mortgage/rent assistance
- Foreclosure information
- 2-1-1; 24/7 information and referral
